Toyota Safety Sense Package receives New England Safety Award

TSS-P to become standard Toyota feature

When it comes to picking out a vehicle, safety should be a given, not a luxury. That’s Toyota’s thought as they continue to work to offer better, safer vehicles with each passing year. Since the introduction of the Toyota Safety Sense system, drivers have the option to have a variety of great active safety features available in their vehicle. And with the new Toyota Safety Sense Package, the brand hopes to make the technology more available than ever.

Whether you’re in charge of the morning carpool or have a long commute to work in the morning, you’ll definitely benefit from the new Toyota Safety Sense Package. The system has been turning heads in the auto industry since its introduction with the way it brings high-tech safety features to the average driver. Recently, the system gained attention after winning the New England Motor Press Association Yankee Cup Technology Award. According to the New England Motor Press Association, choosing the award recipient is up to select faculty at MIT and goes to the feature or system that “significantly enhances the motoring experience”. By that, they mean they examine different aspects such as driver safety, cost efficiency and driver enjoyment.
