Have you heard? Just recently, Toyota unveiled to the world the 4th-generation 2020 Toyota Highlander and Highlander Hybrid for the first time at the New York International Auto Show! The automotive world is buzzing with excitement over the new Highlander, but when can drivers get their hands on one?
Since its arrival on the scene in 2001, the Toyota Highlander has changed how we all look at SUVs and crossovers. Back when most SUV models were truck-based, the Toyota Highlander broke the mold with its unibody structure, and now the 4th-generation Toyota Highlander is looking to break the mold again! But when will the 2020 Toyota Highlander be available?
Unfortunately for drivers, it’s going to be a while before they can get behind the wheel of the new 2020 Toyota Highlander. During its unveiling, Toyota announced that the 2020 Highlander will arrive in December of 2019, and the Highlander Hybrid will follow shortly after in February of 2020.
That’s still some time away from today, but it gives us the chance to talk about the 2020 Toyota Highlander more in-depth!
The 2020 Toyota Highlander’s New Look
Drivers familiar with the Toyota Highlander will notice that the 2020 model offers a refreshed and new look! The Toyota Highlander is an SUV catering mostly to families, but the 2020 Highlander has a bolder and more athletic look, so it doesn’t blend in with the other family SUVs.
The 2020 Toyota Highlander has a stronger stance and bold lines for a more sophisticated attitude. It’s also longer than previous models, with all the extra space being in the cargo area to give drivers even more cargo volume than before.
Plus, the 2020 Toyota Highlander offers five new colors than before: Magnetic Gray Metallic, Moon Dust, Ruby Flare Pearl, Blueprint and Opulent Amber!
