When people are buying an SUV, they generally want to enjoy extra room, a higher driving position, more versatility, and often all-wheel drive is a large draw especially for our fellow Wisconsinites that have to deal with the harsh reality of a Wisconsin winter. Luckily, not only does the RAV4 offer all-wheel drive as an available feature but so does the new Corolla Cross.
In terms of power, it should come as no surprise that the RAV4 delivers more power given its larger form factor, but they are still both very comparable. On top of that, they both offer similar efficiency characteristics. One major difference that’s worth considering though is the lack of a Hybrid option on the Corolla Cross. This could change by year’s end or even next year as Toyota expands its hybrid offering, but currently if you are between these two options and you want a hybrid, you’ll have to upgrade to the RAV4.
